60 GHz System

    Description

60 GHz ISM band is being sought for next generation high speed wireless system for personal area communication networks (WPAN). We have the capability of designing a low cost RF MMIC chip solution for the 60 GHz RF frontend. In the past we have utlized Jazz SiGe BiCMOS process to design a mm-wave low cost transmitter-receiver chip solution with low noise.

Key Features
  • Low cost MMIC Solution
  • SiGe BiCMOS process (Jazz, IBM)
  • Temperature and Process Compensation
  • Low Noise
  • Integrated Low Phase Noise VCO

Anokiwave has extensive experience with working and designing millimeter wave products. For example, Nitin Jain, the firm's CTO, was technically responsible and conceived the 77GHz mm-module design presented in the paper titled "A 76-77GHz PULSED-DOPPLER RADAR MODULE FORAUTONOMOUS CRUISE CONTROL APPLICATIONS". On first assemble and test, the design worked as predicted with no tuning or metal etching and met all the design specifications.

Anokiwave has deisgned a single chip RFIC solution for 24 GHz automotive radar on Jazz SiGe BiCMOS process with first pass success. Apart from RF front-end, it had integrated analog circuits for example, high resolution low noise Digital to Analog Circuit (DAC)Phase Locked Loop (PLL) and low phase noise Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO).
