We have experience in designing low loss compact CATV filters/diplexers. One typical design is a 3 or 4 stage diplexer with 3 resonators in a 75 Ohm environment. The diplexer was designed with surface mount high-Q inductors and capacitors. The diplexer has a high bandwidth and low loss of 1-1.5 dB across whole bandwidth with a 12 dB return loss. High isloation of typical 35 dB was achieved through design. We have also designed diplexers using high Q-coaxial resonators.
